On 3 and 4 October 2010, the Health and Environment Alliance (HEAL) held its Annual General Assembly in Brussels. The event aimed at developing a common vision on HEAL’s achievements and challenges, providing input into HEAL’s future strategic development and business plan, as well as exchanging activities during a very lively membership corner discussion.
During the AGA HEAL’s Work Programme for year 2011 was discussed, adapted and approved. In addition to that, urgent advocacy work to ensure that EU work on environment and health is included in the European Commission’s 2011 Work Plan was debated.
Also, the AGA elected a new Executive Committee and officers for a two-year term. EPHA is delighted to inform our members that EPHA’s Secretary General Monika Kosinska – was re-elected to sit in the new Executive Committee.
