The RICHE and CHICOS projects, together with TACTICS and EURO-PERISTAT are hosting a joint meeting to celebrate European child health research, and launch their reports in Dublin this May.

The Meeeting
This international conference is being organised by two EU funded FP7 projects, RICHE, led from DCU in Dublin, and CHICOS, led from CREAL in Barcelona. Both projects end in 2013.
- RICHE, (Research into Child Health in Europe) is tasked with preparing a roadmap for child health research in Europe for the next decade
-*CHICOS, a sister project, is tasked with developing a child cohort research strategy for Europe
Both reports will be launched at this meeting.
– The aims of this conference are:
1. Launch the two reports, from RICHE and CHICOS.
2. Celebrate and showcase EU funded child health research.
3. Make the strategic case for further investment in child health research.
– Schedule
The meeting will run from 9:30am on Thursday May 30th to 4pm on Friday May 31st.
The conference will be opened by Minister Frances Fitzgerald, Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, and closed by Patricia O’Reilly, Health lead from DG Research Commissioner Maura Geoghegan-Quinn’s cabinet.

. Prof. Helmut Brand, President of ASPHER and of Bad Gastein Health, Maastricht University
