European Parliament Report on Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias – a legislative update

The aim of this article is to provide Members with information on the proceedings related to the EP own initiative Report on Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias. You will find here what the outline of the report is, who the rapporteurs and shaddow rapporteurs for the report are, a timetable and links to relevant documents.

Outline

On 22 July 2009, the European Commission adopted a Communication on a European Initiative on Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Currently, the European Parliament is drafting an own initiative report in which suggestions will be made to improve the Communication.
