EPHA has signed the Bangkok Declaration on antimicrobial resistance, food systems and farming, agreed following a three day conference “Globalizing Food Campaigns: Sharing Strategies to Address Antimicrobial Resistance” in Bangkok, Thailand.   The declaration aims to guide global action to address AMR through agriculture and food systems globally, calling for regulatory action to end routine farm antibiotic use and a transition to more sustainable farming systems and good animal husbandry and welfare to prevent routine antibiotic use.
