EPHA has joined more than 150 organisations, experts, and activists worldwide in signing the Healthy Planet Now Open Letter, calling for health to be placed at the centre of climate action ahead of COP30. The initiative emphasises that the climate crisis is a health crisis, affecting the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the communities we live in. Protecting planetary health is essential to safeguard human health and wellbeing, now and for future generations. As part of our ongoing work to advance policies that integrate health and climate objectives, EPHA supports the call for health to be recognised as a key dimension of effective and equitable climate action.
