A Factsheet specifically designed for children has been produced and published by the European Lung Foundation and the Health & Environment Alliance in May 2007.
The Factsheet is part of the project “The Environment and Lung Disease” carried out jointly by the Health and Environment Alliance, the European Lung Foundation and the European Respiratory Society with the aim to inform children aged between 5 and 11 about outdoor air pollution, and in particular how outdoor air pollution can affect your lungs.
The eventual objective of the project is to encourage young people to play an active role in trying to reduce their impact on air pollution.
Dirty air and your lungs – Factsheet for children is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Greek, Polish and Russian.
