2012 is the European Year of Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations, with a budget of EUR 5 000 000.
The objectives of the European Year are to raise awareness on active ageing, spread good practices and encourage policy makers to facilitate active ageing.
Projects and actions can be funded under this framework primarily at national level.
